Our Engagement Story:

I  (Brad) was able to pull completely catch Stephanie off guard and surprise.  On Thursday, April 13, I asked Steph to meet me at Western Seminary’s chapel after class.  I claimed that I wanted to take some photos of me speaking for my website (one is on the website).  After taking the photos, I went to the piano, and started playing some songs.  She came over, but wasn't really interested in my playing and focused more on the camera.  She wanted to make sure we got some good shots!  So, I took a rose out from the piano bench and told her that I really didn’t care about the photos.  Rather, I invited her to the chapel because Western Seminary was one of the first places we hung out on the first day we first met in person.  I then proceeded to play and sing Joshua Kadison’s Beautiful in my Eyes.  After I was done, I dropped down to a knee and asked her to marry me.  She gave me a hug and a kiss, but I told her I couldn't give her the ring until she officially said "Yes".  I thank God that she did!
